Manifestation
All I can say is wow.
It has been an incredible month. Well, really, an incredible year, and getting more incredible all the time.
My knitted goddesses have been very well received by the people I’ve shown them to, and I’ve sold several on my Etsy shop, and I have a few orders for more. This weekend I made one with beads andreally yummy smells.
Making these goddesses is an amazing experience. They begin to have personality very quickly. Handling the yarn, and the silk fabric I wrap the herbs in, and smelling the fragrance of the herbs . . . it’s a wonderful sensory activity that is blessedly different from my office job. And the people who have bought them so far have all been so kind, and said such lovely things . . . it’s a reminder of how many delightful people are out there.
And also, my family has received such generosity this month! Some friends gave us some chickens, and another friend whose mother owns a nursery gave us a HUGE number of flowering perennials that will make my cutting garden, for free. It’s SO exciting. I’ve wanted to have a big cutting garden for years but haven’t had the budget.
Here is the “before” picture, where my cutting garden is going to take shape:
As you can see, we’ve got work to do. But it’s very exciting! (Actually we’ve already begun our work; I’ll post pictures when it’s all finished).
These are not organic plants, sadly, but we aren’t eating them, so we’ll do our best with what we have, and be grateful. We have SO much to be grateful for!!!

I really like your knit goddesses – such a clever idea!
