I’ve always loved flowers–pretty much all flowers, really. Flowers nourish the spirit as surely as food nourishes the body. I love flowers, and decided that the beauty and joy they provide makes it well worth making room for them in the garden, and using water to keep them growing.
I made the bouquet pictured above for a friend, but it’s a good example of the kind of bouquets I’ll be selling at the market (assuming they’ll have me!). Customers will have to provide their own fancy spaghetti jar vases though.
For the curious, the bouquet includes Lamb’s Ear, Lemon Balm, Artemisia, Columbine, Geums, Forget Me Nots, Euphorbia, and the flower buds of Salad Burnet
